Spring Garden Fair
Saturday, March 14, 8:30am-3:30pm; $25
There may be snow on the ground, but spring isn’t far away, and gardeners of all levels start dreaming of what their garden spaces will look like once the snow is gone. To help you plan and to teach you new gardening ideas designed for our garden zone, Southshore Center is hosting its 5th Annual Spring Garden Fair.
Professionals will share their knowledge with gardeners of all levels. Featured this year is Jim Gilbert discussing how environmental changes will affect the way you garden; Jeffrey Johnson sharing which native trees and shrubs you want to have (or to add) to your landscape; Joe Ackerman discussing shoreline restoration; and, Dorothy Pederson completing the day with ideas on how to design your landscape.
The full day, including lunch and a vendor fair, is only $25. Register online or call Southshore Center, 952.474.7635. The fair is located at Southshore Center.
