Mrs. M Classes

Kids will love Mrs. M's camps! Mrs. M provides exciting camps with science, art, animal fun, some guest animals, nature, adventures, and fun! Parents will love the price and the no cancel guarantee!

Mrs. M, our popular Naturalist, connects Kids with Nature, Science, Animals & Art, creating a family environment! Kids ages 3-12. Great indoor & outdoor class spaces. Day off school programs also offered. Contact Mrs. M at 952.457.7171 or online to reserve your place. Classes are never canceled due to low enrollment.

Just for KIX Dance

Mondays between 4 and 8 pm
As an established youth dance program, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. Register or get information on June dance camp.

Dance Fitness

Mondays, Wendesdays and Fridays every week; $5 per session (discount packages available)
Exercise classes for the active older population--the Baby Boomers! You can improve your aerobic power, increase lower body endurance, strength flexibility and balance. Enjoy a fitness class that feels like a party! Pay at class.


Mondays at 6:30 pm; $49 for 7 weeks or $10 drop in
Get fit in this Latin inspired dance fitness class. All levels and ages welcome.

Art and Garden for Everyone

Weekly Quilt Group

Every Wednesday from 9-11 am
Begin making "quilt blocks of our 50 states". Call Linda, 952.475.1430, for more information , or just stop by to lend a hand and learn a thing or two!

Come for Lunch

Meet new friends for lunch weekly on Tuesday and Thursday, 11:45 am-1 pm. Please call to reserve your space the day before. Senior Partners members $5/Non-Members $7. Minimum of 15 people. Call the center to RSVP, 952.474.7635. A discount punch card is available at the center. A 9 lunch card is only $40 and is good for one year.

If you can’t make it to lunch you can always call in an order for take out and have the meal for dinner—No mess in your kitchen and no extra trip to the grocery store. For more information contact the center, 952.474.7635.

AAA Driving Classes

Refresher Class
Tuesday, April 15, 5-9 pm

Did you know that if you are age 55 and over you can often get a discount on your car insurance if you take a AAA driving class? You don't have to travel far for a class. Sign up for the refresher class coming up at the center. Cost $20/discount for AAA members. Call 1.888.234.1294 for a reservation.

Senior Partners Memberships

Those 55 and over may support community programming and the community center with a membership to Southshore Senior Partners. Membership options: $25 for single $40 for dual. Any age may offer support with advanced giving levels: $50 supporting level; $100 sustaining member. Members get a newsletter, reduced price lunches, discounts on some classes and trips. TED Talks

Thursday, April 10, 11 am
Ideas Worth Spreading

A video replay of a TED Talk by George Monbiot, a journalist and naturalist. Wolves were once native to Yellowstone National Park--until hunting wiped them out. When they were reintroduced to the park in 1995, something interesting happened: the rest of the park began to change. To stay for lunch, RSVP by noon on April 9, 952.474.7635.

TEDTalks meets each month on the second Thursday of the month at 11 am.
