Mrs. M Classes

Kids will love Mrs. M's camps! Parents will love the price and the no cancel guarantee!

Mrs. M, our popular Naturalist, connects Kids with Nature, Science, Animals & Art, creating a family environment! Kids ages 3-12. Great indoor & outdoor class spaces. Contact Mrs. M at 952.457.7171 or MrsM@MrsMsCampsAndEvents.org to reserve your place.

Daily Classes are 9:30-11 am, 11 am-12:30 pm(bring your lunch), & 12:30-2 pm. $8 ea. *4 week deal, New theme weekly, see calendar. Mon.-Fri. Fun regular days.

School Days Out are 10 am-3 pm for $40. We customize school days off for a creative, fast paced, fun nature day with a Woodland Trail hike, project, etc.

New! After-School! 2 hours, 1-2 days weekly for kids 3-12. Mrs. M's Animal Adventures & Woodland Trail or French cooking & nature festival! Join Mrs. M at our Southshore Ctr. bus stop or just drive in!

Special Kid Thurs/Fri Nights! January-May, 6-9 pm & Saturdays. Nature Art AM's 10 am-12 pm; Only $9/hr. Join us at Southshore Center! New themes, crafts, games & art weekly! Get some parent time! Register early. Email: MrsM@MrsMsCampsAndEvents.org

Just for KIX Dance

Mondays between 4 and 8 pm
As an established youth dance program, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. Register or get information on June dance camp.

Zumba

Wednesdays at 6:30 pm; $10 drop in
Get fit in this Latin inspired dance fitness class. No experience necessary. A discount punch card is available at class. Register in class.

Senior Tai Chi

Regular session Mondays, Beginning April 29 for 6 sessions, $48
Instructor Ron Erdman-Luntz has been teaching seniors Tai Chi for over 25 years. Studies show that Tai Chi enhances the quality of life for seniors by improving balance, gracing us greater ease of movement and range of motion, and reducing stress. Give it a try!

Pickleball

Wednesday, May 29, 10:00 am
If you enjoy tennis, racquetball or badminton you will love Pickleball! Join in the learning process. No charge, but call the center to register.

Watercolor Classes

Beginning Watercolor with Georgia Kandiko
Series of 6 lessons: Wednesdays, May 15-June 19, 1-3:30 pm, $139

Try watercolor stress free! Paint, paper, brushes, and palette are provided. Through technique demonstrations you will learn to crate delightful landscape, abstract, and floral paintings. Continuing Watercolor with Georgia Kandiko
Series of 6 lessons: Wendesdays, May 15-June 19, 9:30 am-noon, $139

The Southshore Community Center also offers a hub of activities for seniors.

Come for Lunch

Meet new friends for lunch weekly on Tuesday and Thursday, 11:45 am-1 pm. Please call to reserve your space the day before. Senior Partners members $5/Non-Members $7. Minimum of 15 people. Call the center to RSVP, 952.474.7635.

If you can’t make it to lunch you can always call in an order for take out and have the meal for dinner—No mess in your kitchen and no extra trip to the grocery store

AAA Driving Classes

Wednesday, April 17, 1-5 pm
Did you know that if you are age 55 and over you can often get a discount on your car insurance if you take a AAA driving class? You don't have to travel far for a class. Sign up for one of the refresher classes coming up at the cneter. Call 1.888.234.1294 for a reservation.

Happy Feet

Senior Partners Memberships

Those 55 and over may support community programming and the community center with a membership to Southshore Senior Partners. Membership options: $25 for single $40 for dual. Any age may offer support with advanced giving levels: $50 supporting level; $100 sustaining member. Members get a newsletter, reduced price lunches, discounts on some classes and trips.
