Mrs. M Classes

Kids will love Mrs. M's camps! Mrs. M provides exciting camps with science, art, animal fun, some guest animals, nature, adventures, and fun! Parents will love the price and the no cancel guarantee!

Mrs. M, our popular Naturalist, connects Kids with Nature, Science, Animals & Art, creating a family environment! Kids ages 3-12. Great indoor & outdoor class spaces. Day off school programs also offered. Contact Mrs. M at 952.457.7171 or online to reserve your place. Classes are never canceled due to low enrollment.

Just for KIX Dance

As an established youth dance program, Just For Kix is a leader in dance instruction. Register or get information on June dance camp.

Bellydance for Beginners

Wednesday, July 9-August 6, 12:30-1:45 pm, $60 for 5 week session
Bring a yoga mat (if you have one) and water, dress casual, go barefoot or wear soft soled shoes--just get ready to have fun! It's a great workout without even realizing you are working out. Senior Tai Chi Classes

Mondays at 10 am
$48 per 6 class session

Dance Fitness

Mondays, Wendesdays and Fridays every week; $5 per session (discount packages available)
Exercise classes for the active older population--the Baby Boomers! You can improve your aerobic power, increase lower body endurance, strength flexibility and balance. Enjoy a fitness class that feels like a party! Pay at class.

Zumba

Weekly Quilt Group

Every Wednesday from 9-11 am
Begin making "quilt blocks of our 50 states". Call Linda, 952.475.1430, for more information , or just stop by to lend a hand and learn a thing or two!

AAA Driving Classes

Refresher Class
Thursday, August 14, 5:30-9:30 pm (Refresher Class)
Thursday, September 11, 9am-1 pm (Refresher Class)

Did you know that if you are age 55 and over you can often get a discount on your car insurance if you take a AAA driving class? You don't have to travel far for a class. Sign up for the refresher class coming up at the center. Cost $20/discount for AAA members. Call 1.888.234.1294 for a reservation.

Those 55 and over may support community programming and the community center with a membership to Southshore Senior Partners. Membership options: $25 for single $40 for dual. Any age may offer support with advanced giving levels: $50 supporting level; $100 sustaining member. Members get a newsletter, reduced price lunches, discounts on some classes and trips. Fight Poverty by Handouts? Or Micro-loans?

A video replay of a TED lecture by Jessica Jackley, founder of Kiva, a non-profit that enables third-world people to lift themselves out of poverty by micro-loans, not handouts. Will it work in the U.S.? No registration necessary, but RSVP your attendance if possible to 952.474.7635.

FREE Movie

Adults and children alike enjoy this Disney movie.

Joey Nova's will sell pizza slices, and Southshore Senior Partners will sell popcorn, so come hungry!
